TV Show Pilot: It's A Vybe
Project type
Video Production
Location
Barbados
Role
Video Producer and Co-Host
During my internship at the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in 2021, I was selected to serve as Project Manager for the development of a 30-minute pilot for the youth television show, It's A Vybe.
Working with a team of four interns (myself included), I helped take the programme from an initial idea through to a completed pilot. We developed the show's concept, name and format and created a series of segments focused on topics relevant to young people, including news and education, entertainment, sports and profiles of young people doing interesting work.
As Project Manager, I coordinated the team and supported the production process from planning through filming and editing. I also developed and produced my own news and education segment, Eyes On Bim, and served as one of the show's co-hosts.
